PATCH v1.00.3 (Fixes)

- Futa salvor's repeated dialog was toned down.
- Various translations and conversations have been tweaked.
- A timer now prevents the entity in the final level from resetting too often.
- Gallery now orders alphabetically.
- (Steam Release) Will have new devlog once Steam keys are approved.

PATCH v1.00.2 (Fixes)

- Added naked variations of both pheromone interactions and scuba idle.
- Flatshrooms in prison have been fixed.
- Full gallery unlocker no longer resets stored variations
- Fast Forward button on entering pod conversation no longer locks the game up.
- Pirates stack from a slightly closer range.
- When NTRish is unchecked the nearby salvors no longer show up in the idle echo graph.
- Pheromone-generating items now pause the salvor to prevent being overwritten by other events.
- 'Already at my limit' text no longer calls later.

(Quiet Patch)
- Fixed a bug involving the fast forward button causing unintended interactions.

PATCH v1.00.1 (Early Fixes)

- 11 pieces have been added to the fan art section
- Home image now stays on the last ending you activated, rather than the first.
- Certain single-use dives now properly show the Salvor naked.
- Text for endings now properly replaces your name.
- Scene 49 properly activates and stores. Its first occurrence is in the 'Floodway'
- Bug with 'Grappled Wreck' not properly displaying 3/3 H Scenes
- Endings are now stored in the gallery.
- Bug with switches failing to reenable upon shop entry.

-(Untested) After mission endings switching text and breaking.
-(Untested) Bug with final level entities not moving.



Additions

- 8 levels.

- 2 endings.

- 6 new dates.

- A couple of additions/changes to the fanart gallery.


Fixes

- Gear modifiers now calculate at +2. If you have 0 equipment then the equipment modifier's bonuses will be 2. If you have 10 equipment then the equipment modifier's bonuses will be 12. This will allow players to get the full power of their equipment at 8 while being able to make room for any equipment found in the level.

- REMOVED the randomized flooding of levels, the extra loot generated will not be necessary and the mechanic itself is not intuitive. For a game like this, it is better to simplify than to need too many tutorials.

- Waterfall sounds added to Floodway.

- Static now displays under certain UI.

- Salvor no longer mentions she can retry the dives with no interactable icons.

- Salvor getting heated in clouds now recalls events. 

- Clouds take longer to heat salvor.

- Diving speed when moving under water has been doubled.

- Stutter walking no longer occurs when holding click multiple times.

- Fixed a bug preventing certain players from discovering new levels.

- Certain walls in the Shallows of Ambition were updated to match the rest of the caves under depth 110K.

- The gallery has been slightly organized based on H-Scene type. Certain scenes have been re-ordered, but more specifically, variations are now intended to be grouped up together.

- There have been multiple reports as to the unclear nature of the pool scene. Originally if you wanted to avoid the scene while having another salvor following you, you would need to reply with 'yes'  when she says 'Psst, this guy is bothering me, should I do something?' then reply with 'no' when she says  'He's getting a little distracting again... should I continue to ignore him?'

       Now, if you have the NTRish button unchecked, you only have to reply 'yes' the first time.


QOL

- Home now shows a pink dot when a date is available.


- Just an FYI: the animations in the status monitor on the right are always going to be clothed as making 2+ new sets of animations for the new variations of salvor wasn't going to work for the v1.0 time frame. The animators are great, but I wouldn't want to triple their workload.



Known Bugs: (Need repro)

- The rare occurrence of certain NPCs no longer moving.
- Rare chance of Salvor ending trigger storing in list but not activating.
- (46/49) The remaining 3 scenes are the two ending scenes + a scene that doesn't have a place/isn't acquirable. This will be fixed in the next update.



Steam and DLSite releases are super close. I'm going to do a few more bug fixes and stabilizations before the game drops as well as some changes/updates in the Steam store page.

For the time being, I will be focusing on reaching a stable v1.0 as soon as possible.



What's Next:

1. Very soon, I will be shifting my focus from SDEEP to CDares, the planned time spent will look something like this: 


Even though CDares will be my focus, I will be taking a break to work on a few other things as well, as a result, the development will be a bit slower.

2. Server Rework: Now that I have a better idea of how Discord works I want to shift the focus of the server toward the community. Roles, rules, and channels can be expected to change.

3. As much as I wanted to get out a quick image showing how the next project will be, I ended up with less time than I thought. When I do have something that is presentable, I will announce it later.


Thank you for bearing with me up until this turning point! This marks a very important milestone for 'Delusria' as a whole. Salvor DEEP is going to be unique among these 4 projects in many ways. These future projects will be returning to a more gameplay-centric style.

I know you wanna pivot back to CDares (and you have every right too) and later to other things. 

But I gotta say man, you created a fuckin' SOLID and engaging gameplay loop with Salvor Deep. And I wouldn't be against you ever coming back to that one. Soon as all the bugs are squashed, you got yourself a 10/10 game

There is not any at the moment, I'll make a mention of that in the description.

Great game i really enjoyed playing. But i definetly need hints for the remaining scenes. Floodway (2/3), Dying Seeglider (1/2), 2nd ending and flooded wreck secret. u got patreon btw?

Certainly! (I don't have a patreon atm)

Floodway: if the salvor is 'heated' and has a level2 chest one of the interactables in the level will work slightly differently.

Sea Glider: If you click on a nearby salvor to interact with them your salvor will mention she is to small to take them on. Checking beds will increase her size.

2nd ending: You will basically need to have been caught by the pirates in the 'Pirate Capital' once to start a specific conversation and you'll need about 50 cash to continue that interaction passed a certain point.

On the second bridge, you'll need to walk along the wall closely around the taller plants.

Floodway: i dont seem to find the interactable. I only get "she cools down", "quickly submerges" and "begins diving". staying heated is quite complicated because she always instantly cools down or submerges... dang nvm i found it - dispatch surely is happy xD

2nd ending: any tips on how to get caught at pirate base? she deals w/ them rather quickly after being "captured".

Certainly!

That pirate catch should be the event. Do you know if it started a conversation shortly after that? It'll only do it if you haven't seen it before.

If you got an after-mission event mentioning she needed something, then you should have everything ready now. If not I can check out your save file to see what events you have.

Is there any set timeframe for when the full "stable" release will come out? And will that be the full version that's coming to Steam, too?

Currently it is as soon as possible.  It will be released at the same time the steam release happens. ๐Ÿ‘

Hmmm... Welp, we discussed the idea of adding permanent changes to The Diver's body.

This would be a lot of work, due to adding variations to the animated character art. So.... How does $400 USD sound?

Every time I try and skip when leaving it locks me on a screen w the skip and I have to reset and redo the level. J wanted to lyk about this bug.

experiencing the same prison shrooms bug, but also noticed a bug with the pheromone inducing items not causing any H scenes. other than that, this is one of the best H games i've played.

Interesting, I can definitely get a fix for pheromone-inducing items getting overwritten, good catch!

Loving the game so far. One thing though. In the "hidden prison" level. I have all 4 salvors with me to open the room with the shrinking mushroom. But once I open it and go to the spot- it won't let me click the mushrooms. Is this by design (cause she doesn't wanna eat them with people around her)? Or is this a bug?

Also, the monster in the shrinking cave was just stuck at the top, he wasn't moving at all.

That's the first I've heard of the prison mushroom problem, definitely a bug, I'll check that out. ๐Ÿ‘

Hopefully I'll get the monster problem fixed in the next patch coming up.

Not at all! The huge monster wasn't moving the first time I entered the cave, but aside from that, everything worked out fine.
I genuinely enjoyed the new scenes, so I just have some very minor points I wasn't too fond of, such as the pirates quickly draining your ressources if they catch you one by one, or how there don't seem to be all that many scenes with Dispatch x Salvor. But that's just me nitpicking.

All in all a great release!
