(v0.33.0) Translation Patch


Hello! 

The biggest backend update is finally finished. Just to reiterate from the last 1 week announcement: This version is heavily focused on translations for the preparation of the early access version of the DLSite release. I'll also leave v0.32.5 available just in case any major errors are found in v0.33. 


Additions:

- Languages:

  • Japanese
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Brazilian Portuguese

- Credits

- A facility level. This level will be setting the stage for the 2nd part of the game.

- Chest/Ass Sizes properly apply to [intended] event images. (Acquiring events through certain bugs will usually not be supported.)


Done v0.33:

- Increase memo tutorial size at the end of a mission.

- Emergency return to map button disables when not in mission.

- Y/N and options button presses no longer have a chance to move the salvor.

- Certain interactions now properly reset when declined, preventing them from becoming impossible to interact with again.

- Fixed a weight problem with walking through shallow water causing odd walking paths.

- Error with diving node in mutiny wreck not being replaced after failure


Polish

- Added various Sound effects to UI that didn't previously have them.

- Fixed various visual bugs

- Scaled shop panels to properly fit different languages.

- Sounds now occasionally play when walking with the chest/ass size at level 2 and 3.

- Version number is now visible throughout gameplay.


Balancing

- Increased dive success loot from 3 to 5

- Snorkel Kit's speed boost now only works while in water.

- Salvor now stops moving when starting a new conversation. 

- Trash now has a small chance to provide equipment or treasure.


UNSTABLE FIXES (Needs Testing):

- Fix preventing players from discovering the second level.

- Fix causing repeated game over screens involving stacked negative cash/food values.

- Fix causing text to freeze when stacking too many conversations at once. (In log this will now be identified as "Could not find translation text for: ")


Planned for next update:

All gallery levels default to sizes 0/0 if the sizes are available. In a future update I'll have the gallery store all the sizes you acquire.

Small retargeting fixes have been applied. You may still run into situations where you are stuck unable to interact with a specific item.


(Mac Users: Let me know if there is a problem starting the game. Mac has a different directory to store translation files which may cause an error.)


With many of the slower parts of the development process now being automated I'll be able to focus heavily on content creation from this point onward. So the next big update will be primarily content.

Can you make it in Languages: Korean too?

The 3 current languages are the only ones that will be available until the bulk of the writing is finished.

After that, all remaining languages that have translators will be added in near  version 1.0.

Unfortunately I do not have any Korean translators. But if I do get one then their translation will be added near version 1.0 as well.

Hello! I am a mac user and the file is unable to be opened. I am given a “Salvor DEEP” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash." error.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll see what I can do to fix that problem.

Alright sorry for the delay! I made two versions + and ++. 

(++) should work.

If it doesn't please message me on discord so we can continue with a debug build. 

If it does work let me know so I can delete the other versions.
