Curse of Dares
A Medium Small Content Update (v1.3)
Available on Steam in the Unstable beta branch!
Additions:
- 2 new clothing sets.
- 2 more animations
- Gallery mode (accessible at home)
- Unlimited chest size toggle in home. (Warning: chest does not properly center after a certain size.)
- Visual ass size now increases when 'Clap' is leveled up to an extent.
- Permanently active status image, press [space] to enable/disable the image while in game.
- The new area can be accessed once you find Tilwood and return to the start of the game's door.
- 4 Books have been placed around the game that explain what each ability does. This update is extremely minimal on story, so this tutorial text will be the most added.
- New ability: Movement speed, increase your speed by 10% per level.
- New ability: Sense, occasionally, Frau will fire a rapid barrage toward the nearest ghost. Leveling 'Sense' increases its fire rate. Also increases the magnetization range of XP.
- New ability: Key, gain a key. If you already have a key, this ability does not show up in the selection.
- 3 tougher tiers of wisps, which all reside in fixed locations in the new area.
Tweaks:
- Screen and Screen Fire Rate have been merged. Now leveling Screen will give a +15% fire rate bonus and +1 screen bullet.
- Flicker now creates a massive dim light radius so players will be able to see when the flashlight is off.
- The 'Projectile Speed' ability has been removed.
- +1 Screen now properly centers when at higher levels.
Fixes:
- Huge (experimental) performance boost: now culling shadow generators on all wall-type objects.
- Also for performance: Absorb now increases the value of picked-up experience rather than increasing the amount of experience dropped from ghosts.
- Fires no longer continue to make sound after being used
- Animation ghosts now have effectively infinite health.

- Outside sounds properly loop
- Fixed bug involving game over when outside, causing player to be stuck in void.
- (HF2) Fixed bug involving game over to large enemy causing black whisps to permanently follow you.
DLSite will receive this update later if no major bugs are found in the meantime.

Where do i find "Home"? i might be slightly blind but i cant figure out if it's in the main menu or if it's a location i need to find

Just in case anyone else has trouble finding it and sees this:
After leaving the school, walk straight down to the trees and to the right and you'll run into a small opening, follow the XP dots and you'll run into a bit of a forest maze bit, go to the center block area with a ghost inside it and wrap around it to continue following the path out of the forest. (Don't go to far to the left near the ghost box, there is a really powerful wisp there.)
How exactly are you supposed to deal with the outside? It seems like once you start attracting the big wisps, there's no way to deal with them before you just die. And since the wisps don't despawn after a game over, you kind of just walk outside into death depending on how many are waiting for you.
The outside is only for much higher leveled players, and the particular wisps you ran into are difficult for even the end-game players.
But the problem you ran into where they chase after game over is unintended. I'll fix that in the next patch, thanks for telling me about those!
I had kinda figured that they were supposed to be difficult from the mention of the new ones in the update. But there's one of them that just murders you if you kill too many of them. They spawn RAPIDLY once you start killing them, and they vacuum right on top of you.
I found a very fun exploit, if you return to the menu, you can reset your health back to full
Is there an exact location for the breast toggle or am I just not looking hard enough for it?
Under the forest area outside there are a few houses. The house furthest on the left will contain a few toggles for the gallery, clothing, and unlocker.
